Almost everyone at some point in their life has thought about what locations, events, and goals would be on their bucket list. The combination of being diagnosed with myopic macular degeneration and losing my sister increased my urgency in writing my list down and working towards checking items off. A few are close and achievable (#s 52 and 55); some are completely out of my control (#95). But in an ideal world, they are all things that will fill my life and hopefully I will be able to complete them with as much of vision as possible.

Wow! That’s a great Bucket list! I should start one. One thing I want to do is visit every state! I’ve been to 12 so far!
Thank you! I think that’s one that is doable for just about everybody. I have no doubt you’ll check off a few more soon!
This is such an inspiring post! It makes me think of all the the things I desperately want to do. We have one in common – I dream daily about seeing the Northern Lights. In more than a little obsessed with making that dream a reality. Thank you for sharing this. It made me think about setting goals that may seem out of my reach or comfort zone. Go you and I hope you get to do all these things and more!
I tried to find a good balance of goals that I know I can achieve, and ones that will push me a little farther. But having it in front of me and telling other people what they are is definitely motivating to get to work on completing them!
Such a great bucket list! You are so close to completing some of them. I look forward to an update post where some of them have been ticked off. I hope you get to do everything on your list xx
Thank you thank you thank you! There’s one that, as long as everything goes well, I should be able to finish by the end of the year!
This sounds awesome! Good luck on achieving all of these…I haven’t gotten around to writing my own bucket list yet but I should!

Once I started writing mine down, it started to make me think of so many more – I didn’t intend to get my list to 101, lol, but I’m not mad that’s where it ended up!
Great BucketList, I pray you will get to do all those in your lifetime. We are blessed to have done some on your list. Eventhough we are Americans we have lived outside the USA since 2012. We current reside in Italy and prior to that Vietnam.
I was intrigued by your positive attitude while having failing eyesight. My husband was in the low vision business for many years selling reading devices to people with macular degeneration and I loved hearing his stories about the difference they made in people’s lives.
I am currently searching all things positive as I sit here with a compound fractured foot and fighting skin cancer on the same leg. Done with the potty party and moving on to “what I can do” thanks for being in inspiration.
God bless you,
Susan
Hey, we all feel frustrated about our situations sometimes. But I know for me, the more time I spend feeling sorry for myself is time I’m missing out on achieving something great. That’s so amazing about the work your husband was in! It’s comforting too to know that even as things progress, technology will continue to improve so there will likely be devices or other ways that will restore some of my sight. Thanks for reading and thing of me if you make it to Elba Island while you’re in Italy – that’s where my dad’s family is originally from =)
When you are getting ready to make #51 happen and you are coming to the Disney’s Hilton Head Resort, let me know! I worked 5here for 5 years and I only live 10 m8 utes away!
Oh, that’s awesome! I’ll definitely give you a head’s up!
These are all SO great, Tree! I want to join you on some of those adventures! (Oh, and I think you’re already killing it with #98. ♥)
Quite a few require trips to California, so I hope we can follow through on some of these together! Be prepared for the world’s biggest hug when that happens
